"Cold Slate" Made by Buck Air Max 1
This pair takes inspiration from some of our favorite sneakers we made in 2023. Featuring the same smooth grey leather from Rainy Daze, both of the tumbled grey leathers used in Clouded Vision, and a slightly different tumbled blue leather seen on Frozen Creek.
The story behind this pair takes pieces from each of those 3 sneakers. With the setting being the same creek as Frozen Creek just in a new season. The snow has melted from the banks of the creek, showing the different tones of cold grey rocks underneath. The sneaker is meant to look lighter from the front, gradually getting darker towards the heel. This represents putting any negativity behind us and moving forward with purpose. The significance of the name comes from starting something new, not from rock bottom, but with a Cold Slate.
